QP-NOS
QP-NOS - NOSs – National Occupational Standards (NOSs) is the sole authority to decide and judge the standard of performance, knowledge and understanding when carrying out a particular activity in the workplace. Each NOS specifies one key function in a job role. For example: For a Sales Associate, one of the NOS would be to 'To help customers choose right products’. QPs
Qualification Packs – A set of National Occupational Standards, aligned to a job role, called Qualification Packs (QPs), would be accessible for every job role in each industry sector. These drive both the creation of curriculum, and assessments. These job roles would be at various proficiency levels, and aligned to the NSQF. Example would be Qualification Pack of a Sales Associate Sector Skill Councils are accountable for the creation of QPs and NOSs. Quality Assurance - Quality assurance (QA) is a way of preventing mistakes and defects in manufactured products and avoiding problems when delivering solutions or services to customers.The terms "quality assurance" and "quality control" are often used interchangeably to refer to ways of ensuring the quality of a service or product.Quality assurance includes two principles: "Fit for purpose" (the product should be suitable for the intended purpose); and "right first time" (mistakes should be eliminated).
