IndiaSkills 2023: Register now to Showcase Your Skills on the Global Stage!

Are you ready to showcase your skills on a global stage? Registrations for IndiaSkills 2023-24 are now officially open, providing a golden opportunity for talented individuals to embark on a journey of excellence. This national-level competition serves as a stepping stone to the prestigious WorldSkills Competition in Lyon, France next year.

IndiaSkills, a platform that recognizes and nurtures the nation’s top talents, invites interested and eligible candidates to register by visiting the Skill India Digital portal. The last date for registration is 15th January 2024.

The WorldSkills Competition is a monumental event, hailed as the largest skill competition in the world, and it takes place once every two years. Organized by WorldSkills International, an esteemed body with 86 member countries, this competition sets the bar for excellence and provides an objective measure of vocational proficiency. The competition spans an intense 4-day duration, where participants devote 16 to 22 hours daily to showcase their expertise.

India secured 11th position in WorldSkills Competition 2022

In 2022, the WorldSkills Competition brought together over 1,000 competitors from 58 countries, competing in an impressive array of 61 skills. India, a nation with a burgeoning pool of talents, participated in 50 skills, including cutting-edge areas such as robot system integration, additive manufacturing, industry 4.0, digital construction, mobile application development, and renewable energy. Their remarkable performance secured the 11th position in the rankings, marking their best achievement to date since they first participated in 2007.
